I questioned which section to put this in, but decided on the painting section since I'm the one that painted it (My husband made the box).
He told me that the stocking stuffers he got me for Christmas were too big, so he made the box and not only put the stuffers in it, but my stocking too!
I found the pattern for the design at NeedleCrafter.com. It's a vintage embroidery pattern. I used a piece of carbon paper to transfer the design, painted it with silver paint and then went around it with black acrylic.
I lined the inside with the last scraps of my very favorite fabric and now it's a perfect little box for whatever current knitting or crochet project I'm working on _________________ When in doubt, make a fool of yourself.
